The rain eased and we headed off to Ickworth.
A sign displaying the scone of the month... have already tried this one so expectations were high.
Most of the daffodils are going over but some are later flowering... beautiful sight regardless.
And out in the fields, dozens of lambs.. all at different stages..
in one of the fields a pond with a family 7 Egyptian Geese Goslings...
High on the top of the wall.. Mr. Mallard eyed us curiously..
A rather large bee..
Sheep ranged in colour from white through mottled to black..
A couple of siblings racing around the field..
and in amongst all the sheep.... strange what's this...?? there was a Fallow Deer - all on its own and no sign of any others..
and after a walk via the bird feeders, Marsh and Coal Tit seen... we caught up with a family of Canada Geese... there were 7 Goslings.. most hiding under Mum's wing to begin with
but later on they came out to play :)
Time for a cuppa and scone for lunch.... Ponders gazed out...
Regrettably the scone was very very dry so I took it back. The restaurant manager dealt with situation very well though...so my thanks to the Manager for his attention to this.. well done!
And first house martins seen today...

Your framing of scenic shots is second to none Tricia.
Roy - thank you so much for your words..... you've got me blushing quite considerably now... :)
